About Everlyn

Everlyn is a new imprint of established publishing company, Rily Publications, set up to deliver a new exciting range of romantic historical fiction to the UK. We will be delivering books with rich historical settings, most with author's notes to explain how the facts help deliver the fiction, strong characterisations, significant sub-plots and spicy adventures.  These books epitomise what devotees of this genre call the ‘sexy side of historical fiction'.

Rily Publications is a privately owned, family-run publishing house, created when husband and wife team Richard and Lynda Tunnicliffe started publishing Welsh language versions of popular books as a hobby in 2001.  Since then they have steadily grown their range of Welsh children's titles, which can be found on the company's website www.rily.co.uk 

On the launch of the new imprint, Richard Tunnicliffe, managing director of Everlyn, said: “When we launched Rily Publications in 2001 we targeted the niche market of the Welsh language, offering Welsh language versions of popular books to cater for the growing number of Welsh-speaking children.

We decided to embark on expanding the publishing house after a family member brought a book published in America back to the UK.  When we realised it couldn’t be bought in the UK and represented a different style of fiction, we decided to enter the mainstream English market and bring these books to a new audience.”
